Fire Starter Studios is home to powerhouse creative talent, and we’re thrilled that along with winning Gold for our scripted short Human Trafficking, Director and Fire Starter Studios CEO Rachel Klein was recognized for her powerful directing and Peyton Skelton for his stunning Cinematography. Also winning individual awards were our super talented Motion Graphics Artists and Art Directors.
The Tellys
The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens. Even though all of us were working in masks and shields during those grueling 12 hour+ days, this year’s productions saw advances in creativity and storytelling across the entire industry.
Here’s a quick look at our winning productions recognized for a total of fifteen Telly Awards!
These projects include documentary and scripted shorts in multiple genres.
Scripted
The scripted content covers a wide range of topics from the devastation caused by Human Trafficking to a cheeky look inside the world of customer service inspired by the look of Wes Anderson.
Documentary
On the Documentary front we produced a far-reaching series tackling Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. It featured unscripted conversations with a broad spectrum of participants discussing their personal stories and experiences with diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at work and in society as a whole.
One Telly Award is a huge honor, but receiving fifteen makes us extremely proud.

Fire Starter could not achieve any of these awards without the creativity, talent, dedication and hard work of every single crew member, actor, staff member. We owe a special debt of gratitude also to our documentary interviewees who gave us their time, their passion, and most importantly their stories.
They all know how to strike their own match and light fires of creativity and inspiration within and that in turn ignites others.
Having a team of Fire Starters leaves us amazed and humbled but not surprised to be recognized and honored by others.
